The primary activities focus on the mission:

The exploration of new opportunities for rendered animal products, administering to the conduct of the research projects that support new or improved application opportunities and the dissemination of the information resulting from the research. All FPRF members are provided with semi- annual technical findings and research results from each of the projects until final reports are available. Each member has the discretionary opportunity to utilize the results for individual company application, marketing programs, and further communication with product end users consistent with research integrity.

Special Seminars and presentations are frequent at the semi-annual Board of Directors and committee meetings. Additionally seminars are held as the need surfaces. Grantees and the FPRF President and Director of Technical Services participate as invited presenters on numerous technical programs and scientific meetings.

Several technical and informational publications are provided to the membership in addition to progress and final reports to include:

  • Technical Services Bulletins,
  • Directors Digest,
  • Biodiesel Annual Summary,
